Description

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Florida operations team (offices currently located in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Daytona, Orlando, Tampa). In this position, the candidate will be proactively working to ensure high quality marketing proposals and services, reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities

Marketing Activities:

  • Develop and maintain marketing materials;
  • Develop and maintain the pursuit tracking system;
  • Develop and maintain the annual resume update process;
  • Write transportation blog posts to support social media campaign;
  • Manage the entire proposal process from start to finish
  • Collaborate with technical managers and coordinate efforts (including setting timeline, meeting deadlines, and drafting high quality material) to produce winning proposals;
  • Maintain marketing information, such as project sheets and credentials, and professional resumes;
  • Undertakes special projects, such as award submittals, as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation and engineering;
  • Experience with other State Departments of Transportation a plus;
  • Must have the ability to work flexible schedule in order to meet proposal deadlines

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualified candidate must have a valid driver’s license and retain a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration;
  • Ability to read and understand plans and direction given in the English language;
  • Ability to write in English, with excellent grammar and writing skills including familiarity with the AP style guide;
  • Basic computer skills:
  • Ability to create and or edit Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator);
  • Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
  • Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Exchange emails with attachments;
  • Experience with Deltek Vision a plus

We are seeking a full-time Senior Manager to oversee Commercial proposal and marketing activities. Responsibilities include proposal management, advertising, client research, PPT presentations and press releases. Candidate must have extensive experience in managing proposal development from win strategy to client debriefs. This individual needs to bring an innovative and creative capability to our team. Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Senior Commercial Marketing Manager responsibilities include:

  • Champion the entire proposal process of the team(Pre/Execution/Post):
    • Manage the upcoming-proposal kick-off meetings and assign tasks to staff
    • Ensure assigned tasks move forward on schedule
    • Pre – Conducting initial research on potential clients/Pre-bid meeting identification and coordination of attendees
    • Arrange and participate in staff kick-off meetings
