In November 2007, SMPS North Florida bought a $500 table sponsorship for the AIA/IIDA/AIGA/USGBC annual Holiday Party November 29, 2007.  Each year, this holiday event contributes to the Cathedral Arts Project.

In March 2008, SMPS North Florida members helped with Casino Night, an E-Week event, which extended into March. Casino Night raises money to support NE Florida’s Engineers Week Scholarship Endowment Fund.  Also in conjunction with E-Week, SMPS volunteered for the second consecutive year to serve as E-Week Historian by creating a video album of the week’s events.
