Kim Jowers, LEED AP BD+C, CPSM
Kim Jowers, LEED AP BD+C, CPSM is a Marketing Specialist with TLC Engineering for Architecture with 12 years of experience in marketing for professional services. She is a graduate of Florida State College at Jacksonville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Converged Communications. Kim received the SMPS North Florida Shining Star Award in 2015 and 2016, and she has served as Secretary, Sponsorship Director and Education Director in the past. Kim is also on the USGBC Florida Board of Directors.
Zach Brown is the Business Development Associate for Michael Baker International. He has 14 years of marketing experience with 9 years in the A/E/C industry. He is responsible for branding, sales training, presentation development, and leading the capture plan process for all major pursuits across the Southeast. In 2009, Zach served as the SMPS North Florida Secretary and has been an active participant in many roles dedicated toward the A/E/C industry. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
Bonnie Faircloth, CPSM
Bonnie Faircloth, CPSM is a Marketing Manager for Batson-Cook Construction’s Jacksonville office and has 17 years marketing experience with 15 years in the A/E/C industry. She manages marketing efforts, project pursuits, and supports business development initiatives. Bonnie is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s in Art Administration and Art History and a Master of Management from Webster University.
Luchandra Bryant, MBA
Luchandra “Lu” Bryant has more than 10 years’ experience in the A/E/C industry. She is the Marketing Manager for Auld & White Constructors, handling all marketing efforts for the construction firm. She has been involved with SMPS North Florida since 2012, serving as President, Special Events Director and Treasurer. Luchandra is the recipient of the 2016 -2017 Shining Star Award and the 2013-2014 Member of the Year Award. Luchandra is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s in Retailing – Fashion Merchandising and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Cheryl Gessling is a Marketing Director for ECS Florida’s six offices in Jacksonville, Daytona, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Tampa and Fort Myers. She has over 20 years of marketing experience with over 15 years in the A/E/C industry. Cheryl oversees the implementation of the marketing and brand strategy for the ECS Florida subsidiary including campaigns, events, digital marketing, public relations, and proposals. ECS Florida, LLC is a premier provider of geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, environmental consulting and facilities engineering services. Cheryl earned her Bachelor’s in Communications from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida and her Associate’s in Fashion Merchandising from the Miami International University of Art & Design in Miami, FL.
Kaylan Brown is the Assistant Marketing Coordinator for Batson-Cook Construction’s Jacksonville Office. She is responsible for executing marketing efforts, creating proposals and presentations, and supports business development initiatives. She is a recent graduate of the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s in Communications -Advertising and a Minor in Psychology. Kaylan received the SMPS North Florida Rising Star Award for the 2017-2018 year after serving on the Programs committee.
Kit Brower is the Marketing Coordinator at Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI) and joined SMPS in 2015. Kit has ten years’ experience in business development, six years in manufacturing and the last 4 years in the A/E/C industry. Kit received her Associates in Business Management from Monroe College in New York. Kit leads the Marketing and Business Development efforts for all ESI office locations. She specializes in solicitation research, distribution, social media marketing, proposal research, marketing campaigns, and online reputation management.
Ina Mezini started with Pond May of 2017 as the marketing coordinator for the company’s Jacksonville South office. She is responsible for producing proposals, developing SF330s, preparing presentation material, researching opportunities and any miscellaneous marketing needs that arise. Previous to Pond, Ina interned at a Jacksonville advertising agency, Shepherd, where she shadowed account managers and assisted with writing copy for various client’s collateral, managed client social media and managed overall client and creative team relationships. Ina graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s in Communications and a concentration in advertising.
Melinda Wood is the Marketing Manager for Dana B. Kenyon Company. She has 26 years of A/E/C industry experience with ten years of marketing experience. She manages all marketing efforts and provides support to the business development team. Melinda has been a member of SMPS since 2014 and has served on the board since 2015 as the Director of Special Events.”
Michelle Calcote King
Michelle Calcote King is the Founder, Principal, and President of Reputation Ink, a B2B marketing agency built for complex industries. With two decades of marketing and PR experience that spans from Australia to England and back to the States, Michelle Calcote King brings a global perspective to her clients in the Southeast and beyond. After graduating with a master’s degree in international communications from the University of Florida, Michelle began her career in London during the dotcom boom. It was then she discovered her niche helping companies in highly complex industries.
